Liberty Café and is a restaurant/soup kitchen serving hot lunches to the East New York Industrial Park community and its surrounding areas. The Café, which opened in December 2009, is currently serving nearly 400 meals per day. The Café serves fresh, nutritionally balanced lunches free-of-charge Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM to anyone seeking a warm meal. Its mission is to provide 'holistic nourishment' to anyone who desires it, regardless of age, race, gender/sexual orientation, financial/living situation, background, religion, immigration status, or health/physical condition. The term 'holistic nourishment' is defined by our organization as the provision of goods or services which improve the health and overall well-being of the recipients, meeting their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs.

Its goal is to serve these individuals and assist them in becoming fully self-sufficient, contributory members of society. Liberty Café serves a dual purpose: to ensure that the members of the Brooklyn community have adequate access to healthy meals in order to combat the obesity epidemic and other health problems resulting from the consumption of unhealthy food and also to provide programs, services, and referrals which will assist, support, and guide its visitors on their path toward self-sufficiency and self-actualization.
